Christmas at the Butt house was a lot of fun. The night before, everyone got new pajamas. It is a Butt Family tradition to receive pajamas on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning Kyle, Meghan and Adelaide jumped into Nana and Oompa's bed with Janelle and Kristie (another family tradition). Then we all came to the Christmas tree in our new pajamas.

Oompa handed out presents and we opened them in rounds, everyone opening one present a round.
It was Adelaide's first Christmas! She really liked the wrapping paper, but when she got that present open...
...boy, did her eyes get wide.
After every present she opened, Meghan wanted it out of the wrapper immediately to play with it. We had lots of toys around that morning to play with, so Mom put quite a few away for later.
Meghan also liked helping Adelaide open her presents. Perhaps she thought if she opened them, she would get to keep them.
So a good time was had by all.
