I Think My Pool Is Too Small

We had Sony's girl's for a day of sprinklers, wading pool, oreo balls and movies. It was tons of fun.

Horse Pillow

So I made this horse cross stitch for Meghan, but I didn't want to hang it on the wall. I wanted her to be able to play with it. So I made it into a pillow with a lot of help from my mother. It was a lot of fun and I could see myself doing this again with other small projects.

So Kyle came out of his office one day and asked me to take his picture. I assumed it was for some application regarding his attempts to start his own programming business. So I took a few shots.

Happy, he retreated back to his office. Curious, I followed. Imagine my surprise when I saw him uploading his picture to FACEBOOK!!! Not that social networking site that sucks your time and your soul and leaves nothing but a gibbering shell with 200 friends and the results of fifty personality quizzes!!!
But I'm okay with that now.

I forget who, but one of the boys (edit: That would be Sam) said that Meghan looks like a French Musketeer in these pictures. All she needs is a big hat with feathers.

So while Hyrum's mother was occupied somewhere, Hyrum's older brothers decided it was time for Hyrum to get a haircut.

Fortunately for Hyrum, I too own buzzers and remedied the situation.

Utah Trip 2009 - East Canyon

Near the end of our Utah trip, we spent some time up in the mountains at East Canyon Resort.

Meghan was lucky to have an adoring collection of relatives who were willing to take her to the park whenever she wanted.


There was plenty of sheep to see on the mountain walks.

Meghan got to go fishing with Oompa.


We got to ride the ATVs.


There was indoor fun too: cards, blocks, wii, fire...

And lots of relaxation.
