Sylvan Park

This is our local park that we walk to a couple of times a week. Its a pretty well balanced park: far enough away from the road, small but not too small. It doesn't really have equipment for older (10 year old) children, but that is good for me now. The only issue I have is that there needs to be benches better spread out. They're all clustered around one side of the park.

De Anza Park

This park is HUGE and semi fenced. There were lots of fun equipment for a range of age groups. I haven't seen teeter totters in forever.

The baby bouncers are springy enough that the toddler can actually get it rocking. Addy has to try every one of course.

Plus there was this huge boat for some reason.

I'm not sure there are enough seating for such a large area. Plus, it may be a little too big for one parent trying to keep track of multiple children. So its a must to take a significant other or some friends (like at playgroup).

Whisman Park

We went to this park for a picnic lunch with some people from church. It is sized more for older children and the proximity to the road is a little close for comfort. Also, for some reason the swings are really really low. But there are picnic benches and grills to cook on.

And what is it with kids and sand? Forget the playground equipment. If there is a stick and a yogurt container, they will sit and play in the sand forever.

Bike Trailer

Kyle is in love with his bicycle and decided to share that love with his children. We got a double bike trailer and he occasionally takes them for drives around town.

Meghan was very excited about the whole thing, but Addy was not sure of it at first. Fortunately, Meghan's encouragement helped her to enjoy it once they got going.

Rengstorff Park

There are so many parks around California. This is one of my favorites. It is near Google, has a bridge just for the fun of it and a huge concrete slide that you ride cardboard down.
