Tanya's Pixie Cut

Tanya Got a SexyPixie Cut Today. She got enough courage to do it because Meghan had been attacking her hair. After she got it, she was a little skeptical, but we picked up some gel at the store, and now it looks great.

Meghan kept saying "Mom's getting a pixie cut!". She was excited about it too. We wandered around Publix and ate the free snacks until Tanya was almost done, then we came back to see the change. You can see it here, in 360-Vision:

Gingerbread House

I made my first ever real gingerbread house this Christmas season! We decided to go with a Florida theme. Note the pool, ocean view, palm trees, and gigantic flamingo.

The Big Butt Christmas

Christmas at the Butt house was a lot of fun. The night before, everyone got new pajamas. It is a Butt Family tradition to receive pajamas on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning Kyle, Meghan and Adelaide jumped into Nana and Oompa's bed with Janelle and Kristie (another family tradition). Then we all came to the Christmas tree in our new pajamas.

Oompa handed out presents and we opened them in rounds, everyone opening one present a round.

It was Adelaide's first Christmas! She really liked the wrapping paper, but when she got that present open...

...boy, did her eyes get wide.


After every present she opened, Meghan wanted it out of the wrapper immediately to play with it. We had lots of toys around that morning to play with, so Mom put quite a few away for later.

Meghan also liked helping Adelaide open her presents. Perhaps she thought if she opened them, she would get to keep them.

So a good time was had by all.

The Mini Butt Christmas

Since we were in Utah for Christmas, we took the opportunity one evening to share gifts with the Vonn side of the family. First we had to clean up... and then fix the vacuum and clean up again.

Meghan's Babies

Here is Meghan with the twin dollies she got from her Oompa and Nana for her birthday. They're a lot of work for her. Here she is putting them down for a nap. I can honestly say I feel like that a lot with my babies...

We found this gem in the $5 Walmart bin. I remember watching it when I was younger. So we just had to pick it up. It was lots of fun but the 3D makes me sick and its hard to use the glasses when you already wear glasses. Steven found a way to kind of make it work but I just opted to watch without.
