Christmas comes but once a year. Right? Right. So we broke out the decorations about two Saturdays before it happened and decorated. Meghan loved helping.

We even decorated the Anti-Falling Meghan proof barrier.

You'll notice that the lower 1/3 of the tree has practically no decorations - only the orbs with the little hooks removed so Meghan could decorate and undecorate her part of the tree without stabbing herself or anyone else.

It definitely made it feel a lot more like Christmas.

cute Tawny, i realized Christmas eve that our tree only had 12 ornaments and they were stuck on with out string or hooks just threaded onto the branches by the boys. OOPS! So after our Christmas Story scripture reading and carols, i decorated it and turned on the lights. Big difference. It really did make it feel more festive.I will have to do better next year. My goal is to have the presents done by Dec 1. Then i can enjoy the season.
Cute Tawny, I realized Christmas Eve, that our poor tree had only 12 ornaments on it. They were only stuck right on the branches themselves, no string, no hooks. OOPS!! So after our Christmas Story Scripture reading and carols, i found the box of decorations and decorated the poor thing, and turned on the lights. It definitely made it feel more festive. I will have to do better next year.My goal is to have all the presents done by Dec 1, then I can enjoy the season. Ours still has no ornaments on the first 1/3 rd of the tree. IT is Grandchild Proofing. Lelia loves to go over and pull off the ornaments too.
LOL! that really funny! Jasmine was really good about not touching our tree! she thought it was hot because of the lights!! we always tell her the fireplace is hot, and candles are hot so she went up to the tree for the first time and said "ooooooo, hot" and didn't touch it. at least not until one of her retarded uncles tolkd her "no the tree isn't hot. look i can touch it" I was pretty mad at him, but she stll didnt bother it! Luckily!
