Utah Trip 2009 - Botanical Garden

One of our mini trips was to the Riverton Botanical Garden which is a nice little place with plants and advice on how to manage your garden at home. Unfortunately, someone gave Kyle the camera which means that most of the pictures we collected from that trip are different plants.

Fortunately, we didn't go alone so I was able to get pictures from Kristi's camera of the people enjoying the plants.

Other than plants and company, there was a neat little village of flat metal houses with doors just big enough for Meghan to crawl through. There were some other fun things to play with but we had to rush through because we arrived there too close to closing time. So maybe next time.

Utah Trip 2009 - Pretty Princesses

Meghan and Janelle had a rocky relationship from the start. For the most part, Meghan wanted to have nothing to do with Janelle. She displayed her displeasure with her aunt mostly by screaming and saying "NO! I don't WANT you Janelle!" However, she started singing a different tune whenever Janelle put on one of her dresses. Poof. She was suddenly Meghan's best friend. So when Janelle wanted to play with Meghan she simply had to put on a princess dress and they would dance and play cheerfully.

Utah Trip 2009 - The Knorr-Knorr Emporium

We took a couple of days to visit with the Knorrs. There was plenty of fun to be had with cartoons off the internet, bikes, visiting the Physics ladies and just hanging out. And since Andrew, Kyle's boss/client, works in Logan we were treated to dinner at Hamilton's - supposedly the snazziest, top of the line restaurant in all of Logan.

Utah Trip 2009

So as most of you know, this summer we went out to Utah to visit Nana and Oompa. To make finding our suitcases easier, we sewed huge buttons on the front. Addy thought this was the greatest thing she had ever seen and spent all the rest of that day trying to pick them off.

We made it safely to the Butt House and then proceeded to have a wild and fun time.
