Kyle's brother Brian and Brian's wife Chris came down for a short visit this last week. They got to enjoy quite a bit of Florida. They went to the beach, rode an airboat and canoed to Boy Scout Island. They enjoyed a lot of Meghan and Addy time. They saw alligators, crabs, pelicans, and collected a bunch of neat shells. Here are some pictures of our week.

Meghan's 3-Dollar Tent
The day that Kyle's brother and sister-in-law arrived, we went garage sale-ing! At one place, we found a gigantic inflatable Eeyore doll, but the people wanted $40! No way. So we moved onward, but Meghan was very distraught that we did not get Eeyore. So we found this little Disney Princesses tent at the next place. And she loves it. Its the best $3 investment I've made in a while.
Also purchased was a 50 cent backgammon game, a $15 toy box. Of course, Meghan does not think it's a toy box at all, but a Meghan Box.

Addy I
Halloween
We only handed out 1 of our 2 bags of candy just as I planned. Unfortunately, Kyle went to Scouting for Food the next day and gave away all my candy to the boys. Grrrr.

The Marshmallow Game
For those of you unfamiliar with the rules, The Marshmallow Game is where you try to fit as many marshmallows into your mouth as possible (other variations may include Peeps, MMs, hamburgers, basically whatever tickles your fancy). Something tells me that Meghan will one day win the title of the Queen of The Marshmallow Game.Wednesday, September 17, 2008
Adelaide's Baby Blessing
Fun with Clothes
Meghan loves dressing up, especially in big people clothes. She is always trotting around in my white wedding shoes. Here she is wearing her Daddy's shirt, Oompa's shirt and Oompa's socks.

She has also started attempting to dress herself. Here she is wearing her dress that I had taken off of her earlier that day. She got the basic idea of head-through-the-hole but missed a bit in her execution of the principle.
